Installing the damper regulator

1. Open two screws on the cover and remove the cover.
2. Remove the front plate of the damper so that you can extract the interior section.
3. Press the interior section into the damper regulator as shown in the picture so that the handle aims obliquely upward in relation to the damper regulator. Lift up the fastening nut on the cord from the damper regulator and screw the interior section on.
4. Slip the handle into the case in the direction of the damper regulator. Place the cords into the gear wheels if they have detached, and position the fastening nut so that it points toward the outer edge of the handle casing (when looking away from the wall, it should point to the right).
5. Attach the cover to the damper regulator and push the interior section and possible sliding plate back into the frame of the smoke damper. Then attach the damper regulator to the frame with two screws. You can also attach the damper regulator and the interior section after the frame has been placed into the brickwork.
