Founded in 1984, Polar Metalli is the leading Nordic manufacturer of smoke dampers. The family business, founded by Tapio Saukko, today employs more than 20 professionals in the field, and manufactures products for customers in Finland as well as in the other Nordic countries, Germany, England, Ireland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia.

Our company focuses on the production of fireplace components, outdoor grills, chimney stacks and different stainless steel design products, such as ash trays and rubbish bins. The individualised production methods facilitate flexible and rapid deliveries to customers in all corners of the country. We also manufacture tailored products designed by our customers and architects, and handle subcontracted sheet metal commissions.

We are committed to our values, which include continuous product development and delivery performance. The competent staff working in our modern 3000 m² facility, teamed with the latest design software and the use of a laser cutter, robotic press brake cells and welding robot cell in our production line together guarantee exacting products, uniform quality and the rapid delivery of large orders. In addition to our online shop, our products are also available for purchase at the Kesko, Rautia, and Starkki chains, as well as at hardware and building supply stores.
